For a test purpose, I want to install a vm inside another vm using virtualbox. Here is the configuration
Primary host: Windows 10 64-bit
Guest: Ubuntu 17.10 x86_64. I say this is secondary host
On the secondary host, I installed virtualbox-5.2_5.2.8-121009~Ubuntu~xenial_amd64.deb
Guest on secondary host: Everything
As you can see in the picture, only 32-bit guests can be installed on the secondary host. Is that normal? I want to install a 64-bit guest. That is not possible though.

Re: 64-bit guest inside another guest
It's absolute normal, nested virtualisation is nor supported. VBox does not passthrough needed vt-x to vm.
