Base System Device error

Post by Soupbowl »

Hello,

When I start the Windows Server 2012 VM and check in device manager. I see a yellow sign with an exclamation mark. The description is "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)" and "There are no compatible drivers for this device." I tried solving this with updating but i did not help.

Virtualbox: Version 5.2.8 r121009 (Qt5.6.2)
Host and Guest 64 bit. The host has 6gb of ram 2gb of ram I give to the guest.

I wonder what it is and how can I solve it.

Do you want us to start guessing what that device is?

And that's the "VBoxHardening.log", not the VBox.log. Which the only thing it would tell us would be some details about your configuration, not about the device on your guest...
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
