Another drag and drop not working

Hi

I'm having trouble getting drag and drop working with my Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS guest. I'd appreciate any assistance.

Here's info about my system from the attached log file which I took while the guest OS was shut down.
OS Product: Windows 7

OK, after a couple of guest reboots and program restarts, it's now working.

Spoke too soon.
It's working from guest to host but not from host to guest. When I drag the file over the guest window, I get the red circle with a line through it icon.

Any ideas?

We're going to need to see a VM log from a complete VM run:
  • Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe error / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
  • With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
  • Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response (see the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form).
But, before you do that, shutdown your VM and make some adjustments:
00:00:01.858992 VRDE: Warning: failed to launch VRDE server (VERR_NET_ADDRESS_IN_USE): VirtualBox Remote Desktop Extension server can't bind to the port(s): 3389
You have enabled the VRDE server, but it's conflicting with something else. Resolve this, by either disabling the RDP server, or changing the listening port.
