Start up issues

Post by Gillianc »

Hello Everyone!

I am trying to run the VM on windows host, the download/initial startup is fine after the box is open it cant find the disk file that the program created. The program is being halted because there is no bootable media, and I am unable to change the file types to anything other then Virtual Disk Machine Format. Any help is welcome! I am just learning the system.

Please report error messages accurately, after searching for previous answers. You should have found many previous answers for this.

The "no bootable medium found" error means what it says: the attached disks (if any) contain no boot code, probably because you created a blank VM and didn't install an OS yet.

Chapter 1 of the user manual tells you how to get started properly.
