5.0.10 is very old. Have you tried with the current (5.2.6 at the time of posting) or the latest Test Builds?

We would also appreciate any information that you have for us! :) Is there a specific error that you can share with us? Does it happen with all guest VMs or just a specific one? We will probably want to see the VBox.log file from the problematic guest (zipped of course).

My crystal ball is currently broken. If you want assistance you are going to have to give me all of the necessary information.
Please don't ask me to do your homework for you, I have more than enough of my own things to do.

We need a proper description of the error message, and a VM log from a non obsolete version of VirtualBox.

For the log: with the VM fully shut down, right click and "Show Log" in the GUI, save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip, and attach the zip here.

Vagrant is a program that relies on VirtualBox but modifies its configuration files in unknown ways to us. It is not supported on these VirtualBox user forums, they have their own Vagrant support channels. If you are having this problem with a standalone version of VirtualBox, then we can continue this discussion.

That doesn't look like you couldn't start the VM. This is a log from a VM that's running for 18 hours!!! And it's not complete, i.e. you took the log while the VM was running.

We don't need to see a generic VBox.log from "a" run. We need to see the complete VBox.log from a run that had the problem. With those settings that caused the problem, not "I tried this and that".
