Hi All,
We have come across an issue on Win 10 after installing VirtualBox 5.2.6. Essentially what happens is that after installing VirtualBox the start menu on Win 10 becomes excessively slow when you search for things, for example if you click the start menu and then type "Word" it will take between 20 - 30 seconds for it to bring up Word 2016. If you disabled the VirtualBox Host-Only Network adapter the performance of searching the start menu returns to normal e.g. the same search takes 1 second to return.
We have looked through the forums but have not come across anything close to this being reported. has anyone else come across this and if so were you able to resolve the issue?
Thanks

Re: Virtual Box Causing issue with Start Menu on Win 10
I can't think of any VirtualBox feature that cares about or would interfere with the start menu, making this (until proven otherwise) a Windows/YourPC problem and not a VirtualBox problem.
I suggest that you look at secondary influences, such as the "most used" icons Windows wants to show you on the start menu, and where those are located.
