So it's me again. Along with the DHCP problem I had, I now cannot ping the internet. I can ping from host to VM, VM to host, host to internet, but not VM to internet?
Tried rebooting and restarting Vbox. No help. When I ping yahoo from the VM, I get ping: unknown host yahoo.com
I added another adapter as NAT but that don't help either!
This is another problem I am having after my area took a random power failure.
Help!!!

Do you know how many posts are there per day? Nobody can/should remember your problem, so help us out by pointing to the problem you had. Don't create extra work for the rest of the users and have us searching, simply link to your previous problem. Like this: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=86767Rayj2016 wrote:So it's me again. The following steps might tell us what's going on:
ping <DefaultGateway> <-- tests your connectivity ping 8.8.8.8 <-- tests outgoing connectivity ping google.com <-- tests name resolution
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
