Windows 10 - VB 5.2.2 with Ubuntu 16.04: Can't SSH from 1 guest to other guest on NAT Network

Post by dulipat »

Hello,

I'm trying to connect two VM's with NAT Network configuration on both VMs, both guests can ping each other, but I can't SSH to each other. I'm using the the following command:

Code: Select all

ssh 10.0.2.4
and entered the correct password, but it keeps giving me "Permission denied, please try again" error message.
Please help me resolve this issue.

Thanks.

Then it should be a problem with your SSH configuration/permissions, no?
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
