[Solved] No USB Device listed in USB Settings Dialog

Hi,

I started an old WinXP Image on my Laptop this morning. Unfortunately I am not able to use my connected USB serial interface cable inside the virtual machine. I tried to configure the USB settings and observed a unexpected behavior.
There are no USB devices listed inside the the USB Settings Dialog and I cannot add new USB Filter.

Host: Windows 10 Prof 64 bit
VirtualBox Version : 5.2.2 + Virtual Box Extension Pack 5.2.2

Is there anyone with an idea how to solve this issue?

Did you try reinstalling Virtualbox (with "run as administrator) after the latest Windows 10 updates?

Thanks for fast replay. After I deinstalled vbox and installed again it is working like expected. Thanks for the support!!!
