I'm new to Virtual Box and I have not been able to use it on any WLAN so far - ie. the virtual machine does not get any IP when my computer is connected to WLAN. (LAN with ethernet cable is working fine.)
I have a MacBook Pro and I'm using Windows 10 running on Boot Camp. The Virtual Box 5.2.0 is running Ubuntu guest.
In Virtual Box Network Settings I have Bridged Adapter, Promiscuous Mode "Allow All" and "Cable connected".
I have installed the Virtual Box extension package.
What to do - are there any simple instructions on how to get the virtual machine working on WLAN connection?
Virtual machine does not get IP on WLAN
Re: Virtual machine does not get IP on WLAN
I have same your problem. I must install Virtualbox 5.1.30 again to fix this issue.
