Is GuestAdditions installed, and installed correctly? (How to confirm)?

Post by Sha »

Hi,
How can I confirm if Guest Additions is installed? Installed and working? The host is Windows 10 and the VirtualBox is running Ubuntu 16.04.3.

Thank you,
Sha

You can look at the guest log or you can look at the /var/log/vboxadd-install.log. Also you can see in the session information under the top machine tab.

Thank you, PerryG.

Note: I posted a question for the forum "on Linux Hosts", when it should be under "Windows Hosts".
This thread should be considered closed, since the answer (for Linux) was given.

Thank you.
