VirtualBox always fails starting VM - why?

What error (if any) do you get for "sc start vboxdrv"? For some reason the driver doesn't start on your system, causing all those follow-up problems. IIRC the driver is set to start on boot, and it worked for so many users for so many years...

Ok, I understand and it's in my life first time.
On laptop with Windows 10.1709 x64 Home this version works.

You didn't say a word about what happened for the

sc start vboxdrv

command I proposed. Did it succeed? Did it show any error message? All you provided was another output of sc query, and that doesn't tell me much.

This I didn't knew before you posted it.

Here's result:

sc start vboxdrv
[SC] StartService FAILED 2:

The system cannot find the file specified.

It's a broken install then - the driver gets placed in the appropriate directory by the installer. There's no option to choose, it can only fail if Windows gets too creative. Try uninstalling VirtualBox 5.2.0 (and I rarely ask for it... better reboot, because your Windows is in a strange state). Then install it again. Hopefully that cures the confusion.

Did it and again works not, but vboxdrv has other error:

C:\Windows\System32>sc start vboxdrv
[SC] StartService FAILED 3:

The system cannot find the path specified.

I changed installation folder - maybe that is reason, Now it's:
C:\VBOX\

Why?
What to do to modify it manually?
What a file is missing - driver or so - I can copy it from working VBox from my laptop.

Is possible to fix it by overwritting VirtualBox files on desktop by laptop files?

I did last - tried previous release of VirtualBox and it works! Without any problem!

So, VirtualBox 5.2.0 is partially compatible with Windows 10.1709:
x64 Home = works
x64 Pro = fails

That may be true in your case but it is not the usual case. I have no trouble with that combination.

Update:

I reinstalled Windows completely and really VirtualBox 5.2.0 works.
