@zacsees
You posted this question again and you were given instructions on what to do (FAQ: Diagnosing VirtualBox Hardening Issues). Did you do it? Did you read the post? I couldn't see any antivirus loading, so check the rest of the options in the linked article. I couldn't see anything really obvious, so you'll have to try it according to the link, unless someone else sees something that I may have missed.
By the way, keep in mind that according to the forum rules, duplicate posts are not allowed. It's not good etiquette...

The problem with my virtualbox still continues, I have done all the hardening diagnosis yet the error code still appears. The Vm is not starting up normally but it is starting with headless and detachable start. Please, someone assist me power my VM normally. Thanks in advance.

Which implies graphics drivers, as the FAQ mentions. You could also try disabling 3D acceleration.zacsees wrote:The Vm is not starting up normally but it is starting with headless and detachable start.

Disabling 3D acceleration from the host machine will not affect the vm. I have not been able to install any OS on the vm, when i try to use either headless or detachable start to install OS on the VM, I will get a notification that there is no bootable device found. But with normal start, it would not just start at all rather, I will get the error E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: MachineWrap Interface: IMachine {b2547866-a0a1-4391. If it is the driver problem like you earlier said, how can i resolve it?

Shut down the VM, go to VM Settings » Display » Screen » Enable 3D acceleration: uncheck that.

You seem to have two problems at the same time. One is that whatever you're trying to boot from is not bootable. If there is a checksum where you downloaded the file from, compare it with what you have locally. But it's puzzling because at a different point you say that the VM starts headless or detachable. Which is it?zacsees wrote:when i try to use either headless or detachable start to install OS on the VM, I will get a notification that there is no bootable device found
The second one has to do with your graphics as mpack pointed out. You get to that error earlier than your first one, if you try to launch the VM normally. As soon as the VM window is created, boom, you hit the error (before even trying to boot the VM and hitting the non-bootable medium. So, try to upgrade your graphics drivers, run "sfc /scannow" from an elevated Command Prompt.
BTW, you haven't even told us what you're trying to boot. An ISO? An imported VM? Something else?

50% success achieved . Now my vm works flawlessly from the normal startup no more error message. I have upgraded the graphic drivers. The second issue is that when I try to install win 7 with an installation disc, an error will popup which reads '' NO BOOTABLE DEVICE FOUND'' what could be causing this error?
