Problem when host is accessed from RDP

Hi,
This is my setup:
-Host: Windows 10 Pro x64, fully updated, VirtualBox 5.1.20 with the 5.1.20 extension pack installed.
-Guest: Ubuntu 16.04 x86, fully updated, with 5.1.20 guest additions installed

-When I access the host localy, in front of the screen everything is working as expected.
-If i access the host from RDP (remote desktop) and start the guest, the guest boots ok but thre Ubuntu menubar never appears. I do get to the desktop, if i right click it and open the terminal it misses the window title bar. Changing the "Enable 3D acceleration" doesnt make any difference.
-When I access the host from RDP and the guest is already running everything works fine.

Any help is appreciated.
