Hello everyone!
I wanted to install a virtual machine on my PC (This is my first time),
And when I put the video memory under 128MB,the program recommends i put more.
When I go to display adapter properties,it says I have:
128MB of Dedicated video memory;
4121MB of Total available graphics memory.
I'm not sure if it "uses" the Dedicated or Total memory?
If you know what it "uses",please respond,I will be very thankful.
Thanks for reading!!
Btw. Here are the images.
PS. imgur()com/a/uBKlh , sorry for the "fake" link,the forum doesn't let me post the real one.
1. I'm new to the forums,and if the thread is in the wrong place,please move it;
2. This post may sound dumb to some of you,but I'm not so good with my computing skills,and any response helps

Re: Dedicated video memory
Your guest does not use the actual GPU directly and as such it does not use the GPU memory. What it does use is a portion of the Host RAM.
