Tried searching around to find a solution to this, but was unable to.....

Am trying to install VBOX on my Asus ROG and then the Extension Pack and this is there error I get:

The installer failed with exit code 1: VBoxExtPackHelperApp.exe: error: Failed to rename the temporary directory to the final one: VERR_ACCESS_DENIED ('C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\ExtensionPacks\Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-_-inst-2828' -> 'C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\ExtensionPacks\Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack')

Do you have an antivirus running? Try disabling it temporarily. They have been known to interfere with the installation of the ExtPack. My gut feeling is that an "unknown" application (VirtualBox) is trying to modify a folder in the "Program Files" and they are over-jealous about protecting it, going a step further than even Windows itself.
