[Solved] critical error after update

Hello,

I have been using a Windows XP guest for several years.

After updating to version 5.1.18 I get a critical error everytime I try to start the virtual machine.

HOST: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. 4 Gb RAM
GUEST: Windows XP 32-bit, 512 Mb available, with Guest Addition

Make sure that Hyper-v is disabled on your Windows 10 host. If you have to disable it then do a full power down of the host and reboot.

Hyper-v is already disabled.

In that case enabling VT-x in the host BIOS ought to fix it.
