Copy and Paste doesn't work

Hi everybody,

I have VM VIrtualbox 5.1.14r112954 installed on my WIndows 7 64 bits PC
I run a Windows 2008 R2 server with guest additions 5.1.14 installed and the copy and paste function doesn't work when trying to copy a file from the guest to the host or from the host tot the guest.

Copying text between both sessions works fine.

In the advanced parameter I have bidirectionnal activated.

Can somebody help?

Great! Then it works as expected. Shared clipboard works only for simple text (not formatted text) and simple images (not image files). That's it.

You could consider Shared Folders, true networking folders, or Drag and Drop. The 1st and 3rd options have their own share of issues, but most of the time they work beautifully...
