Re: Error when starting any new Virtual Machine
I'm not convinced VirtualBox is installed properly. First I would reboot the host as instructed, then I would try reinstalling VirtualBox, this time using "Run as administrator" to run the installer.VBoxHardening.log wrote: 22b8.640: supR3HardenedVmProcessInit: Opening vboxdrv stub...
22b8.640: Error opening VBoxDrvStub: STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND
22b8.640: supR3HardenedWinReadErrorInfoDevice: NtCreateFile -> 0xc0000034
22b8.640: Error -101 in supR3HardenedWinReSpawn! (enmWhat=3)
22b8.640: NtCreateFile(\Device\VBoxDrvStub) failed: 0xc0000034 STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND (0 retries)
Driver is probably stuck stopping/starting. Try 'sc.exe query vboxdrv' to get more information about its state. Rebooting may actually help.
If you need to continue this discussion then please confine the discussion to one VM, and provide a VM log for it: right click the VM and and choose "Show Log" in the GUI, save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip, and attach the zip here.
Re: Error when starting any new Virtual Machine
Thank you for the response
I don't know why this is happening
and about the multiple virtual machines, it's not important which OS I want to install; any OS of them it's just a name for now because I created the virtual machine and it never started so I haven't installed the OS yet.

Re: Error when starting any new Virtual Machine
Thanks for the new hardening log, however please see the last paragraph of my previous post.
At least the boot seems to have gotten further than before. Tell me, are you using any kind of encryption on this host? I seem to be seeing a lot of chatter around encryprtion DLLs. Either that or it's struggling to verify host OS signing certificates for some reason.
We have in the past had problems with Windows 7 installations whose certificates database has been corrupted in the past by Windows Update.
