Hi,
n00b to the forum - apologies if answers elsewhere!
Running version 5.0.20 r106931 with Win 7 Ultimate loaded.
Intentions: Upgrade 7 to 10 - get a free license (or two!) before MS cuts it off on July 29. Rip License # & then do a clean install to use when Win7 support ceases.
What Happened: Hit the upgrade button, got the error message: "Virtual Box Graphics Adapter - Your display manufacturer hasn't made your display compatible with Windows 10. Check with manufacturer for support"
Is there a fix?
Cheers

is probably not going to work. The word from Microsoft is that your Windows 7 license is "consumed" (as they call it) by the Windows 10 upgrade. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... 6aa5e15ef2 So your Windows 7 license will point to the Windows 10 installation and the Windows 7 will be unlicensed. Whether that means you may eventually be unable to continue using or installing the Windows 7 is unknown by me.Event Horizon wrote: Intentions: Upgrade 7 to 10 - get a free license (or two!) before MS cuts it off on July 29.
