VERR_DISK_FULL

Post by Azatot »

Hi, I can't use Uuntu 14 in my Windows Host.
I copied some files and the size of the space was full.
I've resized from 10 to 20 GB, but the problem goes on.
When I try to loging always puts the same error VERR_DISK_FULL, and I have a lot of disk

Any solution?

Please post a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

You should eject the Guest Additions ISO from the VM.

I think you also have the Ubuntu Repo version of the VirtualBox Guest Additions installed (00:00:22.634148 VMMDev: Guest Log: 00:00:00.017434 main 4.3.34_Ubuntu r104062 started). You need to get rid of these, since there is bound to be a conflict with the official GAs, which you also installed.

Did you also extend the partition to use the new space?

Ok, I'm trying to extend the partition (I had not done the step 2). I've downloaded the gparted and mounted instead guest additions, but when I select the keymap it doesn't start.
(Attach a capture and the logs)

You are using LVM as format and that requires that you know how to use LVM.
