[Solved] Can't install Windows 7 on VM

Post by sir_dany12 »

I'm using Windows 10 and trying to install Windows 7 using a virtual machine.
I start the VM and when the screen to start installing Windows appear, the machine crashes.
I'm sending the files created by the crash.
I really need to sort this out because i need to install a program that only functions with W7.
My pc only has 2GB and has a i5 dual core.

PS- I can't upload the Logs because the file exceeds the maximum allowed. I can send only by pm because i just registered :/

Zip the files before attaching (not pasting) them.

What is "the machine"? Do you mean the guest or the host?

What is the exact error message?

What kind of program only works with Win7?

For the machine I meant the VM. I'm new to this "world", sorry for my dumbness.
The host is Windows 10. The guet W7.
The zip is always higher than 256KB

THe program is Unity Pro from Schneider.

If it's a VM error then I need the VM log file: with the VM fully shut down, right click and "Show Log" in the GUI, save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip, and attach the zip here.

I fixed it. I needed to reduce the amount of RAM that the VM was using.

Thank you for your help!
