I have a WinXP SP£ Host computer and Virtuak Box 1.6.2 running Vista Home Premium with SP1. I can get it to run and connect to the internet but I cannot get it to connet to my internal network.
I have a netgear router acting as a DCHP server.
On the guest computer in VBox I have tried NAT and Host Netwrking, I have tried Bridging the Network on the Host system but still I cannot see the networked Windows Home Server.
Please help...all advice welcom.

What happens when you enter \\homeserver in the Windows Explorer? Or use it's IP address instead of DNS name. You should be able to access network shares through NAT if your firewall does not block it (Host firewall where the Guest runs on).
With HIF, did you bridge the connection and set the correct IP address (let it obtain one from your router).
Are you connected through wireless or do you use a cable. Wireless bridging is not really supported in Windows (I know that it doesn't work in XP, but someone managed to get it working in Vista).
