Mouse buttons not working

I'm running virtualbox 1.6.2 from Vista x64 as ubuntu guest. Everything works just fine, except my MS Sidewinder mouse. Those two left-side buttons ain't working, and it's kind of annoying, because I use them for browsing (previous <-> next).
Is there any way to configure my mouse so that I can get those buttons working?
