I experience it in this problem many times, too.
This occurs in both Ver4.3.30 and 5.0.
I want to know the official solution, too.

Of course you should back it up.
I change the setting place of the guest OS from a default.

The solution that I know according to the follows.
*This is a method succeeding in my PC.

1. Uninstall VirtualBox from control panel.
   *"Repair" of the installer is not usable.
2. Reboot PC.
3. Re-Install Virtualbox
4. Reboot PC just in case
5. Start VirtualBox

My emvironment is Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

Zip up and attach the file. The location will vary depending on your installation. Check your own error message.

I'm sorry for the master of this discussion, but I ask you a question, too.

When this problem occurs in the case of me, a problem occurs equally even if I change user account of Windows.
I see the log. Files causing an error seem to be different in every account. It does not seem to be an error with a decided file.

An error to "open file" in the account. In the different account, it is "Cache hit" error.
