Choppy/stretchy sound caused by guest CPU limits?
Hey, I've tested virtualbox on several laptops and I've always noticed that if I hit 100% CPU usage inside of my guest, the audio becomes choppy, and stretchy sounding. This is especially more noticeable when I run virtualbox on a slower host machines, or set the "processor execution cap for guest" lower. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?

I still can reproduce this with 4.3.28, the latest version as of this posting. Log file is inapplicable because it's not a bug that's very specific, as this happens on every machine/configuration I use. My main (but not only) windows 7 host machine I've tested with has 16GB of ram, guest machines (eg. windows 7) has been given 2048MB of memory which is more than enough for my usage.

Then pick a specific case and provide the log file for it. That is the only way we will make any progress here.Raymond9987654321 wrote:Log file is inapplicable because it's not a bug that's very specific
