Installed VirtualBox and configured my 1st VM for Linux with 1GB ram, 20GB disk.
Fails when I try to start it. Dialog info below and log file attached.
The log file has two errors loading wintab32.dll
1ef4.1ce0: supR3HardenedMonitor_LdrLoadDll: error opening 'C:\Windows\system32\wintab32.dll': 0 (NtPath=\??\C:\Windows\system32\wintab32.dll; Input=C:\Windows\system32\wintab32.dll; rcNtGetDll=0x0
I have tried disabling my antivirus (AVG free), same results.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks - randy

Re: VirtualBox fails to start on Win 7 - wintab32.dll
All you can do is report this to the devs. "Exit code 1" is impossible for anyone else to decipher, especially when it says in the log right before the end that 1 is a normal exit.
In the meantime I suggest reverting to VirtualBox 4.3.12, which is the last version which worked well on Windows hosts.

Thank you for the info. I'll give 4.3.12 a try.
