XP does not have Hyper-V.

You need to turn Hyper-V off in your computer's BIOS.

The error you are getting could be because your computer doesn't have a CPU that supports VT-x/AMD-V.

Can you give us more info such as the make, model, cpu etc. of the PC?

Minimum information needed for assistance.

The Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 doesn't have support for VT-x.

Martin is correct, and this means that you cannot create a Windows 8 VM on this host, at least not using VirtualBox (I don't know about other software).
