AFTER ISSUES W/PRIOR VbOX VERSION, THE LATEST IS FINALLY WORKING WITH MY 6 CORE WINDOWS 7 HOST.
The problem is- no usb drive is seen in the VM, which is Windows XP 32bit, w/all updates. The USB filters are shown in 'settings', but in my computer cannot be seen.
I have attached the last log file, sure would love to resolve this...thanks.

Try the new VirtualBox 4.3.24.

Sounds like you created a blank USB filter - not a good idea.Goliath 45 wrote:no luck, now mouse integration will not work w/ 4.3.24
USB problems have been discussed way more than enough already. Google usb problems site:forums.virtualbox.org.

no blank usb filter. Found the problem- tried a USB 2.0 port and it works now.

I'm using MacOS as host. The USB Pendrive only appears for my Windows under VirtualBox after I eject it from MacOS.

Well naturally. USB devices can't be shared - at least not using the USB protocol.criatura555 wrote:I'm using MacOS as host. The USB Pendrive only appears for my Windows under VirtualBox after I eject it from MacOS.
You can however locate a shared folder on any host drive, including USB drives.
