I tried the VirtualBox-4.3.15-95713-Win and it works with 3D disabled. With 3D enabled, I get this error:

Code: Select all   Expand viewCollapse view
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Ubuntu.

No error info.

Result Code: RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE 0x800706BA (0x800706BA)
Component: ProgressProxy
Interface: IProgress {c20238e4-3221-4d3f-8891-81ce92d9f913}

I've attached the startup.log file.

Many thanks. The 4.3.15-95713-Win version appears to be working fine now. The Tumbleweed dll had an owner of System and not TrustedInstaller as you mention in the fixes. VMs start properly.

Very happy. Thanks a bunch.

VirtualBox installs and starts. When starting a VM, get a CERT_E_REVOCATION_FAILURE error and I have to click the Abort.
Attached is the VBoxStartup log.

Sure hope this helps you out.

SteveLF, could you check out the latest build, please? I think I've addressed the issue, but I don't have the software (Thumbleweed Desktop Validator) available for testing.

Many thanks in advance,
bird.

The 4.3.15-95713-Win version causes me problems on Win7 Enterprise. Launching a VM gives:

VirtualBox.exe crashes from time to time (no specific pattern). GUI and VM start affected.
If it don't crash, I can start (switched off) machines and also restore suspended machines.

Just installed 4.3.15 r95713 and I still get the error

Code: Select all   Expand viewCollapse view
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Linux Mint.

No error info.

Result Code: RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE 0x800706BA (0x800706BA)
Component: ProgressProxy
Interface: IProgress {c20238e4-3221-4d3f-8891-81ce92d9f913}

However, disabling "3D Acceleration" resolves this problem.

After desinstalling the 4.3.14 and install the new release VirtualBox 4.3.15 (build 95713), linked in Mod note at the begining of the topic,
that's look to be working.
Thanks to all VBox team ;)

Initially, i've got the same problem than others, but like i said above it's OK with the new version:
VBox won't startup on Windows 7 x64, many reinstall, and avast disabled.
Couldn't even find a log files, and got error message:
Message box : "VirtualBox - Error In sup........"
"Failed to install NtCreateSection....."

VirtualBox 4.3.15 (build 95713) in Windows 7 x64 with Linux VM. VM guests updated with version 95679 that comes with 4.3.15.
3D didn't work before, now it seems fixed. But, crashes on VM shutdown now are regular and with a message, unlike before when they were accidental and only with VM aborted
.
For some reason, I cannot get 3D to work in Ubuntu 14.04 x64, kernel 3.13.0-34-generic, but it shuts down fine.
3D works in Mint 17 x64, kernel 3.13.0-24, but I get a crash on shutdown.
3D works in Fedora 20 x64, kernle 3.15.10, but I get a crash on shutdown. Screenshot and log attached
