I tried VirtualBox 4.3.15 (build 95286) on Win 7: it worked as it used to work!

Confirmed, same issue with Comodo v7 on Win7 SP1 x64.

Work around is to simply download to version 4.3.12.

Surprised no one posted the download links:

Code: Select all   Expand viewCollapse view
http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.3.12/VirtualBox-4.3.12-93733-Win.exe

http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.3.12/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.3.12-93733.vbox-extpack

Edit: And indeed, VirtualBox 4.3.15 (build 95286) works just fine. :D

People, please stop posting that downgrading to 4.3.12 fixes the problem. We all know that already - stop telling us the bleeding obvious! The purpose of this thread is to get 4.3.14+ working.

It does not work with SpyShelter Firewall (I think it will not work with SpyShelter Premium as well)
OS: Win8 64-bit App: VirtualBox-4.3.14-95030-Win.exe

The latest 4.3.15 build worked fine for me.

I have panda cloudAV. note that a restart was required as the install somehow caused my dhcp requests to my router to fail.

I have tried the version indicated in the first post and now, the software, start correctly but I can not try to use my VM owing to the absence of the extension pack and USB support. I have tried the old version of the extension pack but it don't work on my Win 8.1 64 bit with Comodo Internet Security.

Thanks :D

Hi,

I've been using VB 4.3.15-95286 on a Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit fully updated with Norton 360 and it has worked OK until today when I tried to Restore a VM I got a BSOD saying that there is a problem with VBoxDrv.sys and that Windows needs to reboot. After the reboot the VM could restore correctly. I have a Minidump which is 276 KB if needed.

I had a problem with 4.3.14 on a Windows 7 64-Bit Host with SEP 12.1.4013.4013 ("This is probably part of Symantec Endpoint Protection" for ADC).

Version 4.3.15 Build 95286 seems to work o.k.

Error in supR3HardenedWinVerifyProcess

Postby SeanPark » 14. Aug 2014, 11:06

Hi everyone,
I've just downloaded and successfully installed 4.3.14 on my "Windows7 Home Premium K" 64bit intel i5 hp laptop,
but encountered "Error in supR3HardenedWinVerifyProcess" like below when I launched it.
After first encounter, I uninstalled it, disabled all the AVs and tried to re-install the package again but in vain.
Should I try with a lower version or so?
