Auto-resize calculation errors?

Every time I minimize and restore the VirtualBox 1.4.0 windows client screen on my Dell 1505 (120 dpi guest host display setting, normal size fonts), the window resizes such that its 10% too wide (grey space to left and right of virtual OS window) and about 5% too SHORT (meaning I get scrollbars and can't see the virtual OS task bar).

This appears to be a bug in the "adjust window size" function (possibly due to 120dpi host settings), as setting a virtual display size and selecting that function causes the same error. (Note that if the "auto-resize guest display" functions is enabled then the window increases in size every time its restored!)

Any ideas how to fix/work around this seriously annoying bug?
