Hello.
I tried to install Windows NT 5.0 Beta 2 on a virtual machine.
Everything is fine, except when the Setup reaches the Setup is starting Windows NT part, Guru Meditation pop-up appears.
I think is not RAM overload, because 40% of RAM usage I have while running the machine. And 50-60% of CPU.
I included the vbox.log (and the vbox.png) in RAR, because when I tried the upload the vbox.log, the upload was cancelled, becuase the file was larger then 152 KB.
Windows NT 5.0 Beta 2 Guru Meditation.

When I've seen that error in the past it has seemed to mean that the guest is doing something weird that VBox can only support under VT-x/AMD-v.VBox.log wrote: 00:00:15.891078 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have created a Win2K VM myself in the past with no problems. Perhaps the fact that this is a beta version is the important factor. I see you installed it from an ISO in a Downloads folder. Where did you get the ISO?

Strange site. It's legal status seems iffy to me. They do seem to go to pains not to offer software that's currently sold, or still practical to use - but I'm not sure that means anything legally: copyright survives for decades. Still, they seem to be in regular contact with the DMCA people, and if MS is not shutting them down then who am I to argue.
