I was installing Virtualbox on a Windows Server 2012 to replace hyper-v. But I forgot that the process changes the network, so I lost connection to my remote desktop.
So now I don't know what to do. The server used to have a static IP, but that doesn't work anymore and a scanner can't find it.
I do not have physical access to the machine, only LAN access at best. What can I do?
The virtual machines hosted on hyper-v are still working fine, so the server hasn't lost internet connection. I just don't know how to connect to it.
Suggestions?

I don't have a solution for you other than having someone on the server side preform a reboot. I can say that as long as hyper-v is running this is probably not going to work for you. IIRC, Server 2012 requires VMX, and MS hyper-v is written in such a way as to not play well with anything else trying to use it while it is active on the host.
