Problem installing the GuestAdditions

Post by jaybee77 »

Hi

as i am trying to install the Guest Additions on my Win95 guest i get the following error message, when starting the exe:

"The file VBoxWindowsAdditions.exe is connected with the missing Export-KERNEL32.DLL:lsDebuggerPresent."

How can i fix this, as i need the GuestAdditions to link files/folders from the host with the guest machine...

There are no guest additions for W95. XP is the oldest that have guest additions.
You will need to use a regular network share.

Thanks.
Is this the only way to use files from the host on the guest machine?
If so, how do i do that (is there a howto anywhere?)

OK, creating ISO´s with the files inside, mounting them into the guest machine and just copying them onto the machine is the easiest way :)

[cough]Win2k, NT4[/cough] :-)

I think Perry meant that none of the old Win-DOS windows family are supported with GAs. Only the NT family has them.
