Oracle Virtualbox manager has stopped working

I am getting the "Oracle Virtualbox manager has stopped working" error message while installing Oracle Linux 6.4 in the Virtual Box on a Windows 7 laptop.

My primary OS: Win 7 home premium.

Virtual box version: 4.2.16 r86992.

At the last screen "Kdump" step of the Oracle Linux 6.4 installation soon after i press the finish button I am getting the "Oracle Virtualbox manager has stopped working" and its forcing me to click the close program button.

Please help me resolve this error if you have faced a similar situation.

IIRC At the creation of the kdump you can select to not create the kdump. I am not sure that you have enough RAM assigned to the guest to actually allow the use of kdump. Does it proceed if you select to not enable this feature?

Yes i am not selecting the kdump feature. The option is unchecked and i am skipping this step to finish the OS installation.

I have the following scenario:

VirtualBox 4.2.16
Host: Windows 7 Enterprise 62-bit 6GB RAM
Guest: Oracle Linux Release 6.4 32bit 2GB RAM

Virtualbox stopped working twice:
1. After press Reboot button when installation progress had been finished
2. After press Finish button in the last step(Kdump) of configuration process..

Please advise if I can open a ticket in the bugtracker for this.

You can create a ticket at any time but I would suggest that first you try to update your version of VirtualBox to 4.2.18 since that is going to be their first requirement for you.
Next I did another install of OEL6 to see if I could reproduce your issue which installed fine but I did not use the 32-bit version. I'll try that later today.
The only other thing is the host. I don't have a windows host to try this on so that might be a factor as well.
