VirtualBox crashes when trying to reboot CentOS6.2 1st time

Hi, I have just started to use Virtual Box. I installed CentOS6.2(64 -bit) from its DVD image file. Once it got installed, I tried to reboot it. The VM crashes immediately, and the VirtualBox window which shows the list of VMs shows an "aborted" message for the VM. This has happened twice. The host(my actual OS) is Windows 7(Professional SP1/ 32-bit) running on Intel i3 with 4GB RAM. How do I stop this from happening? Also, this is the first & only VM I've tried to install via VirtualBox so I don't know if the problem is generic or specific to this case only.

Well, after the window crashed, I started the VM again, and manually chose HDD for the location of the boot image. CentOS booted up properly. Even though the problem hasn't been resolved technically, my worries are at end.
