PCI passthrough

Post by cords911 »

Hi everyone.

I'm running a Linux guest on a Windows 7 host. The host machine contains a PCI card that server software on the Linux guest needs to have access to. I've been searching for a solution but cannot find one. How can I pass the PCI card through to the Linux guest? Thanks in advance.

PCI passthrough is only available if your CPU/bios support VT-d and even then usually only work for graphics adapters if it works at all.

Hmmm. That doesn't sound promising. :-(
