Re: Cannot access the kernel driver
Thanks for the solution, worked first time without problems.
Re: Cannot access the kernel driver
I had that issue too when upgrading from 4.3.8 to 4.3.10. The solution given here works (driver install), but is not really a viable solution for me since the VirtualBox installation is done in a script ran automatically (silent mode) on more than 20 build machines. The script exists so that I don't have to connect on each machine to install VirtualBox manually. If I have to go on each on them to manually fix the upgrade process, it kind of defeats the purpose of the script...
If the issue has benn present for more than four years, why is the installer not fixed yet?

Re: Cannot access the kernel driver
The very first post fixed my issue, thanks.
Re: Cannot access the kernel driver
I just upgraded to Version 4.3.12 and started getting the "Cannot access the kernel driver" error.
I did the install of the 2 inf files above which got rid of one error but the kernel driver persisted.
I am running Windows 7 and this is what fixed mine.
1. Exit VirtualBox
2. Find your VirtualBox application in your start menu.
3. Right-click select Run as Administrator.
Everything works now.

Re: Cannot access the kernel driver
I tried this fix, installing those two things. When I do & reboot, my network connection is unable to work. I have to uninstall VBox to get my internet working now... Every time up do an upgrade VBox stops working EVERY TIME... I tried an older version & the network error still happens now... How do I un-do installing these two things?
Thank you
Thank you
