XVideo No port available

Postby kensanx » 15. Feb 2008, 06:46

Hello, I was trying to run a gstreamer pipeline using the xvimagesink element to render a video. The problem is I'm getting an error saying there are no ports available.

I tried debugging and if when I type in xvinfo it indicates there are no ports available.

Is this because of the emulated display device or emulated display driver does not support X-Video? and if not, will it be supported in virtualbox in the future?

I am able to see some videos fine in youtube, they play fine. So I'm thinking it may be feaseble to use xvimagesink.
