Wireless driver installation in ubuntu guest OS on windows 7

Hello,

I have installed ubuntu in my sony laptop try to check wireless configuration, which seems connected thru wired.

How can I actually install wireless drivers in ubuntu without accessing host drivers and network.
when i type iwconfig display
lo no wireless extension
eth0 no wireless extension

I tried to configure but no sucess.

I am using sony vaio

Unless you have a USB wifi device you can't. You have to use the hosts wifi as a pass-through device (emulated wired)
