I need to use usb within the guest os! I have downgraded to 4.0.10 and still the same problem. Can someone help me out. Any suggestions before I spend 200 dollars to upgrade to windows professional solely for windows xp mode.

I gave up on Virtualbox for USB and installed free VMWare Player into which I imported my XP Virtualbox via VMware-converter-all-5.0.0-470252.exe

I also gave up on VB 4.0.16 and installed VMware player. It works very well with all my USB devices, but I still would like to have a working version of VB, as I don't like that much VMware player.
