i'm running Virtualbox 4.1.0 on a Lenovo G560 laptop with preinstalled windows 7 professional 64bit.
Trying to use the built-in webcam (Lenovo EasyCamera) as USB device causes virtualbox guest machine to completely freeze and to be unkillable too (i need to restart the host machine to shut the virtualbox.exe process down). The problem occurs running every type of guest i tried: windows xp (32/64), ubuntu (32/64), debian (32/64).
I'm trying to get webcam working into guest machines from when i started using virtualbox (v. 3.2.0) but i never found help or solutions.
Now i tried the latest 4.1.0 release but the problem still remains.
Can anyone help me?
