Windows 98 and Windows 3.1 not working on Windows XP host

Hi,
I have windows98 in a folder and ive made a .iso file for it
When i try to boot it it says

No bootable medium found!System halted!

The same is with Windows 3.1 , and ive download it as an .iso too

also,i dont have a floppy drive to make a bootable floppy for 98

it was long ago and i dont remember those twitches.

please help if you can.

and what about a virtual floppy? ¬¬

The boot images executables of that page, instead of executing the .exe, just extract it with a program such as winrar. It will extract to a .ima file. With VirtualBox, select the .ima file as a virtual floppy.

missed the part with non working floppy. use cd then: http://www.bootdisks.us/ms-dos/5/ms-dos ... mages.html
