Virtual to Physical (V2P)

Post by CanKansu »

Hi All,

I have a Windows 7 64bit Host and Windows Server 2008 R2 Guest on my machine. I want to take out the Windows Server 2008 R2 to a physical hardware. Is it possible in Virtual Box ?

Thanks

You might also try the terms migration, and "disk imaging", even hits on P2V are relevant. Your problem is essentially a generic migration one of moving a working Windows image from one "hardware" platform to another. The fact that one (or both!) of the hardware platforms involved may be virtual doesn't really affect the issues much.
