Is there a way to move or hide the pop up banner menu at the bottom of the guest screen?
It tends to pop up and annoy me when I am using the task bars of either OS in seamless mode.
Thanks

On my version of virtualbox (5.2.18_Ubuntu r123745) it was in Guest Settings -> User Interface.

Re: Hide/Move Menu Banner
There have been a lot of changes in VirtualBox between 5.2.18 (which is now of itself significantly out-of-date) and the version the OP would have been running 9. It would have been preferable to leave the long dead thread to its eternal rest.Georgi wrote:On my version of virtualbox (5.2.18_Ubuntu r123745)
For future reference, the _Ubuntu in your version string shows that it is the Ubuntu provided fork of VirtualBox and they would support that through their own support channels. If you have problems and want input from the folks here then you will need to be running the generic version from the downloads page.

Did you wake up a 9-year old thread talking about VirtualBox 2.x or 3.x? To say that the interface has changed?
