Dialup connection

I have my virtualbox in my Winxp host and I have dialup connection. My modem is TP-LINK TM-IP5600/TM-IA5629V.
When I try to use my guest OS - kubuntu and try to ping a domain..ie
ping yahoo.com it says unknown host...Thus this becoz the kubuntu didn't recognize my modem or maybe there other problems here...

Can anyone help me work this out...thank you

Let Host connect, give Guest a NAT Interface. That should work.
