Very sluggish response installing Linux on XP-host on my Lap

Hello all

I try to install an openSUSE 10.2 unter VB 1.4 on my Laptop. Its a TurionX2 TL56, with 2 160GB HD, 2GB RAM and a Nvidia 7600 graphics card.

The response of the guest is very very slow.. it takes 2-3seconds to react on a keyboard input or a mouse mouvment... Also DVD-access is very slow.

Has anyone an idea what may be wrong?

I have resolved the problem. I had shared my external USB-Harddisk from the beginning on... Disconnecting it from the guest speeded up the things.

So if someone has the same problem..
