I've installed VirtualBox 2.1.2 for Windows on an XP machine. When I try to run it I get:
VirtualBox - Critical Error
Failed to create the VirtualBox COM object.
The application will now terminate.
Callee RC: CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE (0x80080005)
Does any one know how to fix this?

Did you try to search the forums? It's even on the wiki FAQ (can be found on the front page, a link is provided in the
VirtualBox FAQ. It's often solved if you reinstall VB.

Yes. The first time I did a search. I didn't get anything back. After I posted this I tried it again. And got something. Seems every one still can't get it to work. I downloaded the latest version. Haven't installed it yet.

Did you try and reinstall it. It seems to work for me. Which I mostly use Linux over Windows. But, I did get it to work in Windows.
