Ok, so I've managed to get the command line working, I didn't realise that I needed the full path (http://www.virtualbox.de/discussion/1/2 ... splay=tree) but I don't know how to find the partition information on my hard disk....I get as far as:
VBoxManage internalcommands listpartitions -rawdisk ...........
..then I'm stuck
I have 3 partitions on a single hard drive. The middle one is where I would like to write data to from my guest OS. I'm still not sure I understand though, can I access the information written to this partition from my host?
Many thanks in advance for any help! I apologise if this has come up before but I cannot find it if it has, is there a search facility for the forum that I haven't found yet?
VBoxManage on windows ....?
Up. I have same problem.
I have VirtualBox on XP, and I wanna use Sabayon as guest without using virtual disk.
I already have Sabayon installed on my computer. With boot manager i choose XP or Sabayon.
The chapter 9.9 of the manual says how to do on linux.
What about windows? Can VirtualBox read Linux partitions in windows?
Bye!
